Description: The Gamble Mansion is maintained as near as possible to its antebellum style and is the only remaining plantation home in south Florida from this time period. The Patten House is a turn of the 20th century farmhouse also decorated in a manner to reflect the time in which it was built. There will be free tours of the Patten House. The Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art, a 20th century art museum, features the work of Abraham Rattner and his contemporaries – lithographs, paintings, sculpture, tapestries. An interactive gallery highlights a full-scale reproduction of Pablo Picasso’s Guernica. Two changing exhibition galleries showcase regional, national and international exhibitions. Lectures, workshops, plays, opera and dance videos and summer camp are offered. Membership and volunteer opportunities are available. The Leepa-Rattner Museum of Fine Art is located just west of U.S. Highway 19 at 600 Klosterman Road, on the Tarpon Springs Campus of St. Petersburg College. Museum hours are 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday, 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Friday and 1-5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and free to children and students with ID.On Sundays, admission is a suggested donation of $5 (but visitors may pay what they can and enjoy the museum) and free docent tours are offered at 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. The museum is closed on Mondays and major holidays.
